The last three years, God has had me on a different path; a wonderful, challenging, time-consuming path. I have loved that ministry and experience, but God is moving me on. So, I’m back here ready to share the insights God gives me with you all. I am excited about what He has planned, even though I have no idea what that is. Haha.

What have I been doing?
Several years ago, I had a deep burden for our young generations. I prayed, “How can I minister to a generation that has a thirty-second attention span? How can I minister to children who have believe everything they do is good? How can I present the Gospel to teens that view Christianity as the enemy?”
God’s response, “I’ll give you sixty of them.” As a middle-school and high-school teacher at a small private academy, I ministered to Gen’s Z and Alpha daily. It turns out that was the answer to those questions. Gen’s Z and Alpha need consistency. A short video or one-time message will not penetrate their outer shells. The way to reach them is to show up regularly. They need to believe that you care and can be trusted before they will listen. That trust is built up through relationships, not from the anonymous distance of the internet.
What will I do now?
The downside of teaching was that I had no time for writing, speaking, or creative pursuits. So, while I have no idea of God’s specific plan for me, I feel resurrecting this blog is part of it. I don’t expect much about my content to change from before. This will still be a home for grounded content focused on faith and family. Please communicate with me through by following and commenting. I’d love to hear from you.
